I am a full-stack software engineer with more than 10 years experiences in software/web development. I have both bs and master degree in computer science.

I have worked for company like Citrix System, Liberty Mutual and Google.

What positions have you been in?
I've been worked as software engineer, web developer, software engineer tech lead, and machine learning engineer.

**How have you applied the course skills in projects you have worked on? **
In my previous project, we replaced the existing Monolithic system with microservice based system. And All microservices were built with Spring Boot.

What is your background?
I am an award-winning software engineering manager with 24 years’ experience, with a BS degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Spelman College.
I've been coding in the Java language since the late 90’s and has enjoyed watching the language evolve over the years.

Where have you worked?
I began my career with the National Security Agency (NSA) and worked for companies like McKesson, Delta Air Lines, and the US Air Force.
Currently I serve as a software engineering manager in the IT department of Chick-fil-A and i've trained and mentored thousands of software developers in the US, Europe, and Asia while teaching online at the University of California.

I was responsible for the booking engine on www.delta.com. If you’ve ever purchased an airline ticket on Delta’s website, you’re using code developed by me!
Also, i've developed an enterprise-wide supply chain web application used by the US Air Force to quickly secure replacement parts for equipment and machines damaged on the battlefield.
